Terms of Service

1. The service

LeadShield.ai ("the Service") screens web form submissions and API-submitted lead data in real time and returns a risk verdict. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free trial period.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.

3. Acceptable use

You may only screen data you are lawfully entitled to process. You must not use the Service to build a competing dataset, probe or overload the infrastructure, or screen data unrelated to your own forms and lead flows.

4. Verdicts are advisory

Risk scores and verdicts are automated estimates. We work hard on accuracy but do not warrant that every fraudulent submission will be caught or that every genuine submission will pass. You retain full control over how verdicts are acted upon (block, flag, or ignore).

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Stripe. You can change or cancel your plan at any time through the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and the plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Usage limits reset monthly.

6. Availability

The Service is designed fail-open: if it is unreachable, your forms continue to work without validation. We target high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without uptime warranties on self-serve plans.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost leads, revenue or profits.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the platform, with notice where practicable.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email to the account address. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
